The Goods Perch

The Goods Perch is a collaborative folding chair by Goods and Julius Nielsen OFFICE, shaped by vision, craft, and long-term thinking. Conceived as a natural continuation of the interior created for the Goods store two and a half years ago, it carries the same commitment to material honesty and everyday longevity.

Made in Denmark at the Rammelisten workshop, the chair combines an oil-treated fumed-oak frame with a seat in raw, untreated aniline leather, fastened with precision-milled brass bolts developed for this particular stool. Both wood and leather are intended to evolve with light and use, deepening in tone and developing character over time.

The construction is deliberately simple—few, finely detailed elements—so it folds easily yet feels reassuringly solid in use, with each component shaped by hand to a high standard of finish and fit. Released in a limited edition of fifteen, each chair is individually numbered.
