Margaret Howell is a hands-on designer, one who's philosophy has always been to make the clothing exactly as she drew them - relaxed and lived in - with a natural looking finish. She has been designing understated, high-quality clothes since 1970. Inspired by nature, mid-20th-century furniture design and figures such as Mr James Dean and artist Ben Nicholson, Ms Howell’s vision is immensely tasteful, assured and practical.
