Yuki Matsuda’s design philosophy for the Made in Italy collection harmonises classic American silhouettes with the refined expertise of a small, historic factory in the Sibillini Mountains. These Scout Mocs are constructed from a substantial Italian grained leather, selected for its textured surface and enduring character. The shoes are entirely hand-cut and hand-lasted, featuring a meticulous hand-sewn plug and whipstitch finish. Inside, a thick vegetable-tanned leather insole provides a natural foundation that shapes to the foot over time. This blend of Japanese vision and Italian artistry results in a robust, understated piece of footwear designed for longevity.
