Sunspel pioneered the introduction of the boxer short to Britain in 1947, prioritising a lighter, more comfortable alternative to traditional undergarments. This design incorporates a distinctive back panel that eliminates the irritation of a central seam, complemented by smooth, double-turned seams for a refined finish. Constructed from super-fine, long-staple cotton, the fabric provides exceptional breathability and a soft handle. While these boxers gained international fame after appearing in the iconic 1985 Levi's launderette campaign, the garment remains faithful to its original construction principles, offering enduring utility for daily wear.
