This boat shoe is stitched using the Blake construction, also known as cousu de part en part. It was in 1858 that shoemaker Lyman Reed Blake, a young employee at sewing machine manufacturer Singer, invented this technique, which provides the shoe with greater flexibility and lightness. Made from super soft deer leather, it offers exceptional comfort and a supple feel from the very first wear.
