How to look after your candle.
The first burn of your new candle is crucial. The candle must burn for 2 - 3 hours when first lit and until the top surface area liquefies. This will prevent the candle from ‘tunneling’. After the first burn, one should burn the candle for 2 hours at a time, and then blow out. While the wax is still liquid bring the wick to the centre again. Before re-lighting a candle always trim the wick (but not too short) and remove any ‘bulbing’ on the wick to prevent it from creating black smoke when lit.
Average burn time: 80 hours
