The "Traditional Weatherwear"-brand has been owned by Mackintosh since the very beginning of the brand in the 19th century. The label was launched in the UK in 1974 as a separate, more contemporary line. Autumn 2015 sees the re-launch of the brand in Europe and the US, having built up a following in Japan over the last few seasons. Their rubberized cotton jackets are made using the same technique as Mackintosh's, but fabric and garments are made in China, in stead of in Scotland. Their collections however still comes from a decidedly Brittish tradition and mood.
